New Year, New Bucket List Items?
2018 flew by on me, hard to believe it’s almost new year already. This year I got to visit many new places, plenty of firsts, and blessed to travel to 20 different states in the US (soon to be 21 states before 2019!). Hard to pick a single favorite from all the traveling I did this year but if I must, it’ll have to be my birthday trip to Alaska visiting Denali National Park and Preserve. Why? I’ll share you in another post and include my tips on how to plan and travel to Denali NP&P.
Lets talk about 2019. What do you have in mind, what’s the plan and what’s mapped out for the year? A lot more bucket list trips or doing a number of repeat visits because there’s always more to see? Sticking to day hikes or are you aspiring to do backcountry trips? Venturing out for some solo traveling or introducing friends and family to the public lands that we love oh so dearly? Share with me below in the comment section. I’d love to hear what’s new on your Bucket List!
As for me, I plan to slow down on the out of state travel frequency possibly down to once a month. Will be doing more “local” traveling within California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Also hoping to check off a couple more new national parks from my list, leaving behind the seven parks in Alaska and the three parks in Florida for following years. Slightly ambitious but doable.
I’d love to meet more of you as we travel across this country and explore the natural wonders in the outdoor world. Let me know if you plan to visit California or Nevada and maybe we can plan for our paths to cross.
Looking forward to hear from you!
